Sponsorship Packages

Devonport Cup Day – 8th January 2025

This is the start of another fabulous year of racing at the Devonport Racing Club.
Not only do we feature the Ladbrokes Devonport Cup, which is the major social event
on the North West Coast of Tasmania and attracts up to 5000 people on this exciting day
of racing, but we have seventeen (16) other race meetings scheduled.
This represents many and varied opportunities for your business to promote products
and entertain clients at The Stables Function Centre or marquee spot.

Sponsorship of a race on Ladbrokes Devonport Cup Day includes;

• A Race named in honor of SPONSOR
• A full-page advertisement in the race book on Cup Day.
• A trophy valued at $100 supplied by the Devonport Racing Club.
• Two memberships of the DRC, which allows access to each race day for the season and full
  membership benefits. Reciprocal rights at the TTC (Launceston) & TRC (Hobart) race meetings.
•  Invitation for four people to the Pre-Cup cocktail party.
• Invitation for a team in the corporate Golf challenge on Saturday 5th January
  at Thirlstane Golf Course.
• Permanent advertising on the home straight and as many banners as required for Cup Day
  (in consultation with the DRC and considering the commercial arrangements with our major
  sponsor) to be supplied by the sponsor.
• Exposure through all media including radio and newspaper, during the Cup Carnival
  including SKY Channels 6000 outlets.
• Marquee site available to sponsors in our marquee areas (cost to be arranged with DRC)
• An estimate of the goodwill created by this day (UNLIMITED)

FEE from $2,500 (ex GST)

Full Race Meeting

Sponsorship of a full race meeting includes;

• Weekend meeting named after the Sponsor or product
• Naming rights for the major race of the day
• Trophy for main race donated by DRC (Value $100)
• Radio: Tote Sport Radio
• SKY Channel advertising through 6000 outlets • Newspaper: Examiner & Advocate
• Race Books and gate passes for your guests (up to 20 people)
• A full-page advertisement in our race book (to be supplied by sponsor)

FEES $1200 (ex GST)

Single Race Meeting

Sponsorship of a single race includes;

• Weekend or weekday race named after the Sponsor or product
• A full-page advertisement in our race book (to be supplied by sponsor)
• Race Books and gate passes for your guests (4 people)

FEES from $150 (ex GST) for weekend or weekday meeting

Race Season

As per single race benefit for each race meeting during the season, excluding Sheffield Cup,
Golden Mile and Devonport Cup Race meetings.
Limited numbers available
FEES from $1000 (ex GST) for weekend or weekday meetings

Course Signage

• Weekend or weekday race named after the Sponsor or product
• A full-page ad in race book (to be supplied by sponsor)
• Fence sign (2210mm x 500mm) on home straight (sponsor to supply)
• Fully visible from Function Centre and Tavern (open 7 days a week)
• Full time training centre (150 horses trained per day)
• Visible in Sky Coverage to 6000 outlets throughout Australia
• Larger Signs in other locations are available through consultation with the Devonport Racing Club, fee on application.
